Field Music and Infantry Color Company

1st Penna Reserve Volunteer Corps (PRVC)

The Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association (GBPA.org) and the historic Daniel Lady Farm sponsors the Civil War Field Music and Color Guard of the 1st Regiment, Penna Reserve Volunteer Corps (PRVC) and  the Confederate Fife & Drum of Johnson's Division, Army of Nothern Virginia.  The group was formerly organized as BSA Venture Crew 1861. Members have come from from Gettysburg, York, Lancaster and Mechanicsburg in south-central Pennsylvania and from central Maryland.  The reenactment unit is a unit member of of the United States Volunteers (USV) Civil War reeactment organization and serves as the Field Music of the 1st Reg't USV.  The Field Music 1st PRVC is also a member of the PRVC/ PA Regiments Inc. and the United States Volunteers (USC) Civil War reenactment organizations

The Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association is owner and operator of the historic Daniel Lady Farm which served as Confederate staging area, artillery placements, and field hospital supporting the attack on Culp's Hill in July 1863.
